New Member- I Lost my mom and dad

I am just looking to meet people my age who are going through what I am. I lost my father when I was 16 and my mother at 17, I've been on my own since that. I cant describe how I feel and none of my friends I can relate to because they have never been through it. Im now 21, working and going to school full time trying to stay positive and move forward. It would be nice to meet, talk to people who are going through what I am, so we could be there for eachother.

I'm not your age I am 57, but I too lost both my parents at a young age(8). Both were only 28 years old when coming home from their very first vacation a semi-truck went left of center and hitting them head on, killing both my parents plus my Aunt and Uncle.

I know exactly what you are going through, I have spent a lifetime dealing w/loss. Even today, I'm sometimes jealous of my friends that still have their parents. I'm happy for them, but I do envy them and it still hurts. I do not care if you are 1or 99 you will miss them everyday, your Mom more than anything. Please send me a e-mail @ dclarri@columbus.rr.com. I'm 28 and suddenly lost my father to pneumonia, he was everything to me and my family so it's been a rough 3 months... I have a feeling that we will both find some comfort within this community.
