When I lost my wife of 40 years, Jan, to ovarian cancer years ago my home was surrounded by a huge rainbow the following day. That was the inspiration for my book, Surviving the Loss of Your Loved One, which tells many stories of how loved ones stay in touch. Do any of you have stories to tell?

Just lost my husband 4 months ago today, we were married 33 years & together for 40, almost just after he passed, we were looking for places for a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding & the bride, her parents, my sister, my son & myself went to check out a restaurant & there was a gentleman playing music there & wouldn't you know, he played the one song that was dedicated years ago to my father in law, that he considered his anthem & then he played the one song my husband would dedicate to me every time we would be at a restaurant that had mariachis, I know he was with me that day & although I cried thru the whole thing, it made me somewhat happy.
