On December 15, 1973 At 6:29 PM, on a frigid U.S. Air Force Base in Utah, a scared 20 year old young woman and her (equally scared) 21 year old husband, after enduring 26 hours of labor, brought a new 6.6 pound life into this world. That just delviered baby boy would start life with a few obstacles and spent several days in Intensive Care while his liver formed enough to sustain his body. That baby boy made it through with the love and care of his parents prepared to face the future head on. I would like to personally thank my parents for that precious gift and the love and support they have offered me for the 38 years of my life. This is the first year without my mother here. That young woman completed this step of her journey and passed away peacefully on November 5th, 2011 and the age of only 57. Mom, I miss you more then words could every begin to express. The world seems so different now. Shades of gray replace the vibrant colors I once knew. I wish you were here and, selfishly would do anything to bring you back. Dad, I know you also feel the sense of loss and pain even though your marriage to my mother ended years ago. I thank you also for this life and your guidance and love. I only wish I could have done more to make you proud. I love you Mom and Dad.....always and for eternity.
