Linda,

Thank you for your post & I agree 100%. Helping others  in real need is the one thing that makes me feel like my life has value. Without that, I wonder why am I still here? Soon after Larry 's funeral our church had a blood drive & I went for the very 1st time. I always wanted to, but was terribly afraid of needles, shots, doctors... See I said WAS afraid, not anymore. It was the best thing I have ever done & now I go regularly. Each time saves 3 lives they say- that's an awesome feeling! God bless you & your efforts~ HUGS, Christy

Have an awesome time Linda!  I am going to Las Vegas in April (from Canada) with my 2 daughters (one who is expecting) and my sister-in-law from California.  I hope the weather is good too and you see lots of sights!

Enjoy!

Hi Linda, thank you for the beautiful poem. I work a lot of different hours, mostly evenings (1:30 or 2pm to 10:30 or 11pm). I will keep your phone number & call you. It's not easy trying to get on with your life when you loose your loved one, but I no that my husband & I will be together again in Heaven when God calls me home. I miss him more than any one or any thing  else in this world.  How do you start living again? I still cry alot & I still hear his voice calling out to me. I no that he is not suffering any more, but I would give any thing to have him back here with me. Please take care. God Bless. Thanks again.

Hi Linda,Thank you for your kind words.Yes I was posting everyday when I first found thus site and wished I had found it long before I did. I know my husband would be happy for us because we had talked many times about such thing as different family members went through a loss. He always said he would find someone else and I always said never again lol, I guess I'm eating those words.I truely believe things happen for a reason and it was so wierd  how this happened, so many things just seemed to keep connecting that is was like we were being pushed toward each other more and more. We used to ask each other how and why then I finally said I'm not going to question it anymore. Now we are going  on with living again and keeping our spouses alive with our talks and memories theres not a day that goes by we don't talk about them in some way and it's great to be able to do that without reservation.  I wish you the very best in your new life and don't second guess yourself. hugs

I agree,we should remember the things we are thankful for.I am sure our spouses would not like to see us being miserable. It is best to try and have a positive outlook, and take it on day at a time.

Hi Linda,
I thought that I responded back to you a couple of days ago, but I must have somehow messed it up. So, I'm trying this again.
Thank you for reading about Tom and our life together. I love to share him every chance I can. We really did have it all. And we were so not prepared for this to happen, not financially (no life insurance), legally (no will), or emotionally. It definitely has rocked our world, but I am so lucky to have my kids; they keep me going everyday.
Thank God for this site, too...I am so grateful for this site and everyone here. I have been on a few other sites, but this one is by far the best site. I feel as if I have progressed so much farther than I ever thought I could simply because we can share anything here and someone always understands. I am so glad we have become friends here.
I will be thinking of you as your anniversary day approaches. I understand how those days can be. Thank you for being here, it really means a lot!

Linda, if you haven't been on facebook, bereaved spouses, you need to check it out. In particular Kathy Caylor's recent post and all the responses to it. Might find it interesting. Hugs

Hi Linda, I hope you enjoyed getting out last night and visiting with friends. Sometimes I think it helps just to get away from the house. I am glad to have friends to share my feelings with that can truly understand how i feel.
May God bless you

Hi Linda, sometimes I dont take the time to really express myself. Generally I always thought that a woman had it better than a man. I still kinda think that. Without being to personal, it has to do with our gender. The way we are brought up and the experiences we have encountered. Plus the fact that the woman has more chemicals, being of child bearing, menopause, ect. I had a wife and three daughters so I know more than most men. One thing is for certain. The people on this site truly have loved their spouses and have lost the life they knew and had. It will never be the same. I know that we all can help each other in our grief. Hugs to you. Hugs are good.

Thank you Linda, I feel blessed to have found this site, and interacted with all of you. This may be one of the good things that comes out of my husbands passing.
