This is a beautiful site to converse with others; we learn to treat others as you want to be treated. Even if outlooks and belief system is different we learn to share. It teaches us all compassion, empathy and patient for the pain of others. It teaches us to reject "exclusion" during our time of pain. It teaches us to be considerate of all pain despite our frame of reference. It teaches us "love."

Life us full of all the beautiful elements our Heavenly Father intended for us to enjoy. Life is to be treasured and enjoyed as we hold onto it now. When we or our love fall asleep in death, we have the beautiful promise quoted at John 5:28,29 to hold onto and to look forward to in the future.

Trust in our Heavenly Father to fulfill the promise given at Revelation 21:3,4. A promise which enables us to realize that the pain of today will soon be a thing of the past. Amen.

Life is so precious; but unfortunately most do not come to that understanding or appreciation until they loose what is near and dear to their heart. Death seems so final in the wake of its' happening...it seems so foreign and benign. Yet, there is a promise given to us at Revelation 21:3,4 which holds out for all a hope for a better life and better physical living conditions. Despite the loss of today, the Bible holds out a better time and a promising better future. 1 John 5:28,29.

So sorry for late response, death is something we all will experience but respond differently. The pain is real. I will try to be better with checking this site as so many hurt and have no one to talk to....please feel free to address me via post or private messaging.

Wow,  I did not at all think that anyone would care to read, let alone respond to,  my post.  I don't have anyone (other than the Lord) I can talk to to help me get through this experience. I truly cannot tell you how much your responses mean to me.  I know that God will never leave my side, but knowing that there are people who I've never met that cared enough to respond to my brokenness gives me additional hope.   The range and intensity of emotions I continue to feel since my father's passing on October 24, 2018 makes me wonder if this will ever get any easier.

Sometimes, we think time heal all things and sometimes it does. However, it is 2018 and I still miss my parents as if it was just yesterday they fell asleep in death. Eccl. 9:5. The tears are still there in my heart and on my face. Some days better than others and some days just absolutely Tearful. I hold onto the hope given at Revelation 21:3,4 and it brings me ummeasureable delight.

Diamond, you have a gift for knowing the correct things to say.  Your response did strengthen me.  I know I did all I could for Mama and it is time for me to listen to the positive things from my family and kind people like yourself.
