Thank you so much for your kind words Glenda..I am so sorry about your twin brother. It is so devastating to lose a brother..My brother Hillton was like my twin..everyone always said that too. Now, a part of me has died. I am so sorry Glenda and know that I am here for you.
Hi Glenda, how are you doing? Here it is Father's Day, and there is always that "empty" feeling because my dad died when I was 19 - 40 years ago. My mom died too young and I was in my early thirties. Then my brother, who I was EXTREMELY close to, died unexpectedly last Dec. 29th. I am the only survivor in my immediate family, which is now a really strange feeling. For so long, it was just the two of us, but now he is gone, too. For awhile, I do OK and then when I least expect it, the grief takes over in a major way. I do have a two month old granddaughter, so that is proof that life goes on. The sad (and glad) part is that the new baby was named after my brother, which I thought was incredibly touching. I guess you just do the best you can, because it's all you can do. You just hope you can manage the sadness and grief. If you can, you do. If you can't, you tell yourself you will somehow get through it. Enough of my ranting, if I haven't put you to sleep by now. I hope you are doing the best you can in a bad situation.
Hi Glenda, what a wonderful world would be if all our problems and worries in life would be gone, no sickness, no war, and no death. Psalms 37:11 states the "meek ones will posses the earth." It is my hope that this encouraging words from the Bible gives you hope in seeing your loved one again. May you and your family always to be in good health and spirits.
Dear Miss Glenda,
It must be so hard, being only a year.
My mother's brother (whom I was named after) was killed on Muhlland Dr in California by a drunk driver 24 years ago and still to this day, visiting Cali driving past the site stirs her emotions. I send you my sympathy. I want to share a verse that brings comfort to so many I hope it will comfort you as it has me in such times as these " The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry for help; Jehovah is near to those broken at heart and those crushed in spirit he saves.
Know that you are in my prayers
Hi Glenda, i know how you feel about going back to that river, i feel the same way when i see people on their motorcycles, it brings back memories and pain. But you know what keeps me going? i always told myself "keep your eyes on the prize". I look forward on the day that one one will suffer again and we all live in safe and peaceful world. Hebrews 6:18 says "its impossible to God to lie" He give us a promise that soon he will bring changes to the earth. some of the promises is written at Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Isaiah 35:6 "The lame one will climb up just as a stag does." Isaiah 35:5 "The eyes of the blind ones will be opened." Isaiah 33:24 "No resident will say: I am sick." Isnt it wonderful to know that we hope?
Hi Glenda, I understand and know how you feel. I loss my brother in a motorcycle accident and its a first loss in my family. I hope you find comfort in this site. I wanna share with you one scripture from the Bible that me and my family find comfort and hope. Its from John 5:28,29 it mention that "All those in memorial tombs will come out." Yes in the near future God will bring changes on the earth and we have the hope that we see our loved ones again.

Thank you, Glenda. I am so sorry for you. My brother's (Ed) birthday was last week and it was soo difficult. I can't imagine what sharing a birthdate must be like for you...I understand your anger. How do you cope with your loss of identity?
I know the feelings of wondering what your brother's last moments were like. I lost two sisters within a little over a month of each other. One was found submerged in a river in the back seat of her car, she was missing for 11 months. My younger sister was killed in a car accident also but she was ejected from her windshield into a field and was found 4 hours later laying the snow by her car. I am two years out now in their deaths and the only thing I can tell you, this was told to me many times now from others, that your brother was not in his body anymore. We are thinking of the suffering and hurt that they may have encountered. They were no longer suffering and only the shells were left. I know that does not help, really I do. I myself have a hard time thinking of what my older sister may have looked like in the end after 11 months of being in water. My story is on www.helpfindgina.com if you are interested in reading more. I am here to talk and help. I feel your pain.
