Dear Brooke please accept my sincere condolences. Believe me your mother will always be with you. As my mother will always be with me. It was a year ago November 19, 2012 when I got the phone call from hospice. My mother was brought from the hospital on a Friday to hospice, didn't get to see her on Saturday, saw her Sunday but she was asleep while Bill and I were there. On Monday morning I got the phone call. The hospice nurse said I didn't have to come but I wanted to be there. I bent over to whisper in her ear. Later there was a photo my husband Bill took of me as I whispered in my mother's ear. I asked her to say hello to certain people. I believe mom heard what I said because I understand that the hearing is the last sense to go. Brooke, I understand where you are coming from. Most daughters spend the most time with their mother; in opinion more than anyone else in their life. Wish I had something profound and comforting to say to you. All I can do is identify with you. I always dreaded the day it would happen and I'd receive a phone call. Our mother's are resting in peace now. Take good care of yourself.
