I am 28 and my husband, Brian was 35. His birthday is Oct. 24th and he passed away September 22, 2010.
I miss him sooo very much!
He is my true soul mate and God sent him to me!
We do not have kids but have three dogs. Brian loved his dogs soo much!
Fall is a very hard time of year for me. It has always been my favorite time of the year. Brian and I met Oct. 26th, started dating Oct. 29th, and his birthday is this month and I just love this time of year. The colors changing and the cooler air, I just really like it. However it is now the hardest time of the year for me.
I really want to talk to young widows. I want to know how they are dealing with the loss? How are they moving on with their lives? And does it get easier?

I am so sorry for your recent loss, my heart aches for you. The only way I was able to get through this was taking it one day at a time and some days it was one hour at a time. A year has passed and I find it hard to believe. I do have some good days. The house and yard keep me pretty busy as do family and friends so that has helped. Embrace the memories and let the tears flow as you need to. Hug your kids (dogs) and keep them close, I am sure they know you are hurting and they will help you heal. Give yourself time before you begin to feel a little better and keep sharing on this site, you will get a lot of support.
