I know how you feel Helen. We have put up a Memorial page on Face book for my brother and my sister and I write on it every month.. His friends wrote at the start and i cant blame them for not writing on it everytime they feel like it but i find myself checking to see who does and sometimes wonder how they forget when we have such pain thinking about our loss daily...sometimes, its not that they forget but choose to move on as there is no other choice and we too, have to think like that. It does not mean that when we laugh or feel happy that we have forgotten them its just that we are moving on until we get to be with them.
The ones that have not lost a loved one will never ever know the pain that we go through. Its no point for us to even think that they should. The only thing that they could do for us is to be there and help us to try to move past this.
Helen dearest, we could have never really known what
our loved ones went through, what we saw was what they wanted us to see. they are at Peace and we should try to find a little Peace to as that will make them Happy. I am here for you, write to me when ever you want to.
Love, Joanne.

Dearest Helen.. You cannot blame yourself and you cannot go on wanting to feel pain and suffer and think that you could have done something about it... We all feel like that... Trust me, my parents lost their only son 35yrs my only darling bro as he too did not want to live with the pain of rejection from his wife as he loved her and kids with all his heart. He thought they would be better off without him.. so wrong to think that but, that was on his mind..He kept saying he does not want to live..we wanted to take him to get help and spoke to him so much as we were a close family but just could not get through to him..he took his life on the 1st of Jan and we found him dead all alone at his home thinking that his wife and kids no longer loved him..Such a sad feeling to feel. My parents are so upset, most of all my Dad as he keeps saying he should have tried more to help my bro. We miss him and it hurts so bad..when i think of him when i am eating or drinking i feel chocked up...I know what you must be feeling and its terrible..but dearest Helen, know that you had him for a while and be happy with all the memories that you made together ask God to give you the strength each day to move on and get stronger. We are here for you. Take care and write to me anytime. Lots of love, Joanne.

Please Helen--I do not think your Son wants you to stay in such pain-- I think he would want you to do something nice for yourself. Please go to a support group for survivers of suicide so they can support you
