I'm sending thoughts of strength and hoping you don't lose urself in grief as I did. It took me a while to come to the realization that all I can do from here is make my dad proud with a life well lived. Easier said than done, I know. babysteps, how long it takes doesn't matter. the effort and determination we put forth Is what makes us our fathers daughters, this is what makes them proud and what keeps them close to our hearts. the pain may stay with us forever but it's the love of our fathers that can keep it from destroying us.

Please except my condolences, sudden accidental death seems to be the most difficult kind to deal with.

No amount of medical intervention can stop the inevitable, the passing from this earth on to the spirit realm.

We miss our loved ones earthly presence. We miss the touch of their hand, their soft ways, their kind words, their embrace. Gone-until the end of time on earth.

How do we cope? How do we fill in the void that their lives so graced ours with?

Its difficult to say. Know that you can find comfort here with others that understand the difficulty of the loss of a loved one to a sudden and unexpected accident.

I too lost my daughter to a tragic unexpected accident. Horrifying can be an understatement.. Yet we must go on.
