on march 8, 2016, my fiancee and partner of 7 years passed away unexpectedly in her sleep, 6 days before our wedding.   i feel somewhat disconnected from everyone around me.  i guess i'm just here for advice, or i'm not even sure.  so quickly i went from the best days of my life and being on an excited high...to the very worst.

Kim,  I'm so sorry for your loss.  To go from getting married to losing your partner in a moment is heartbreaking.  Like Harold, I belong to the Bereaved Spouses group.  I lost my husband Ken on 1/13/16.  I wish I had some good advice for you but it's still too new to me.  I just go through the motions.  It helps me to read the supportive and uplifting comments from the folks in our group.  It gives me hope and a tiny bit of strength to get through the day.  I hope you'll also find the support you need here.

Kim I'm sorry for your loss. My wife died January 29, still dealing with this mind numbing grief. I joined the group Bereaved Spouses, I have found it helpful, the people in that group are wonderful. Everyone is very supportive kind and caring. I have found for me not to look too far ahead, Get out of the house every day walk visit whatever. We are all on this site to help each other get through this grief. I have said it before It's hard to believe you are capable of hurting this bad and still survive.
