Grief support groups, condolence advice, funeral etiquette and more
I'm so very sorry for your loss Lois. I can completely relate to how you feel as I, too, lost my husband unexpectedly after spending 26 years together. You've come to a wonderful place that is home to many many people dealing with their pain and getting such terrific support from those that have lived the nightmare. I lost my Tommy two and a half years ago and can honestly tell you that the pain you're feeling right now WILL lessen with time. Just be good to yourself and don't try to deal with everything you're feeling right now all at once. Cry when you want and let the tears flow. They're there for a reason and I can promise you that those too will lessen over time. Again, I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband but cherish the wonderful memories of your 40 years together and the love you shared. God bless. Debbie
