Thank you so much for the comforting words, Jo. Yes, it will be a tough day for me, but everyday is tough. I have Bo's urn here with me so I think I will purchase a lei to place over it. My Bo also passed in August. August 30, on a Sunday at 12:31 p.m. He left this earth but left his heart with me. I'm so happy that your husband's birthday was a peaceful one for you. Hi Linda. Today is also my husband Billy's Birthday. Our first one apart as well. He would have been 51 today. Spend this day doing whatever gives you comfort and strength and peace. As for me... I am going for a massage this morning and spending the rest of the day with my girls. Always keep hold of the knowledge that they never truly leave us. And one day we will be together again.

Happy birthday ,Bo!!Linda is lucky to have had you in her life.She stiil has your heart,My husband took mine with him!Ernie's B-day is in April,I was thinking of having a party.Would this be tacky??My first without him too.Our 44th anniversary was in Nov.2 months after he died.I couldn't think of anything else and no one else remembered.Good luck ,Linda,I'll be thinking of you,Kathy

Happy birthday Bo. Another of a long line of "firsts" for you Linda. I still have a couple of "firsts to complete. Larry's birthday was less than 2 months after he passed. That was one terrible week for me. Oct 4 we would have known each other for 40 years, Oct 6 is Larry's birthday, Oct 8 is my birthday, and Oct 9 he was gone for 2 months. I survived with the support of family. I wish I had found this site then...I sure could have used your support. I still have a few firsts to go...Easter, opening the lodge alone, and our 39th anniversary June 19 and 1 year since he passed August 9. I have and will survive. I'll be thinking of you Linda.

Happy Birthday Billy. Tricia enjoy your day with your girls. They are there for you and they need your support as well. We never stop being a Mom. Even though they may have moved out on their own and have separate lives, when the going gets tough there is no one like Mom. I am fortunate to still have my Mom and Dad...they are my rock. I don't know what I would have done without them these past 7 months.

I had a lovely day today. My cousins, visiting from Eureka, kept me busy with shopping and lunch. Thank you Lord for family and friends. I bought this double tuber rose lei for Bo's birthday today. The fragrance is heavenly! Happy Birthday, Darling!
