This might be a rough time for many of you. Do what you feel you need to do to get through it. Remember, someone is here almost all the time to talk to you.

I lost my husband after a lengthy illness Aug. 23, 2009.
My two sons both live too far away to get home much. I feel totally alone. It seems like one crisis after another. I used to be so strong. When Don was ill I did whatever it took to get him the best care. I kicked down doors if I had to. Now, I don't feel capable of making any decision. I want to just give up. I guess it is not an option because of my two grandchildren, but I do think about it. I just feel so alone.

I didn't know this site existed. I have no family and no one to talk with. My beloved passed away in February 2009 and I am still having a great deal of difficulty dealing with it. He was my best friend, my biggest supporter. I miss him so much.

Joan,Whether it was a sign or not,it still has to warm your heart.I'd like to think it was.I've heard they visit us in our dreams.I visited my husband's grave one time and my parting words were"'s your turn to come see me!"and guess what, that night I saw him in my dream. Now I'm sure skeptics will argue that he was in my thoughts. But I say I think of him all the time.It still warmed my heart.

If anyone sent me a friend request on fb and did not get an answer, please resend. I had 2 very active grandchildren on my lap along with my laptop and a 3rd little one trying to get up on my lap. One decided to "help" me and erase something before I got to see who it was. What WOULD I do without them?

I wonder if this could be a sign. My Jim has been gone for almost three months. Several times I wake up feeling the bed moving. I think it's the dog jumping up to wake me up. But when I open my eyes, the dog is not even in the room. One time as I was getting ready to wake up I dreamed Jim was laying on the bed with the dog and he was smiling at me. I so hope these are signs from him.

Sitting here crying. I don't know how I feel about signals from those who have died. But I'm beginning to wonder. My son and husband fished a lot together. So since Jim's death, he has been posting on facebook---The James Derocco River and Puddle tour. 12 months of fishing for dad. It is unbelievable the size of the fish he has been catching. Time and time again. I'm really beginning to believe someone else is directing the whole show. I so want my own signs, if there is such a thing, Any thoughts anyone.
