I understand how you feel.  Our son passed November, 2008 almost 3 years ago from cystic fibrosis.  You would think that it gets better but it doesn't.  You want someone to know how you feel but aren't sure they can.  I will talk to anyone and everyone who will listen to me tell about my boy.  My heart aches for him.  I miss him so much.  It's just so hard living without him.  My heart is so saddened by all of the losses from this horrible disease and what it does to the loved ones who have been left behind.  Perhaps we can help each other with our grief.

On August 31st it will be 9 years since my beautiful 14 year old daughter died from this horrible disease. Time only makes it easier because you become used to new lifestyles. But when it's quiet at night I still think I can hear the whirr of her feeding pump and the noisy mechancial sound of her oxygen device. I participated in online support groups for CF before but this is the first one I have found that is exclusive to loss due to Cystic Fibrosis. I see we only have 4 members, I hope that we can support each other and will look forward to hearing from anyone.

I lost my husband on the 31st of March he is my hero my best friend and soul mate I have no idea how I'm supposed to spend the rest of my life without him. He was the strongest sweetest person I have ever met or heard of and I just can't understand why he had to go through all that horrible stuff and loose his life so early and awful mean evil people are walking around just fine where is the justice in this?
