I think this group is certainly one I would qualify for. I lost my Daddy this past Sunday Sept. 9th. I adored him, he was my hero, he was my safe person and my favorite person, and he and I were also good friends. I have a great picture very much like the photo in the group page, when we were in "Indian Princesses" together (a YMCA program in the 70s)--I just have to post it, and regret the moment we got dressed up in our "gear" recently we didn't snap a photo.
What are the favorite ways you have remembered your Dad's? I am not even a week into my life without him, and I find myself really holding on so tightly. I regret not recording his slow drawl telling rambling stories. but about a year ago I began to save all his voicemails (in Google voice.) I'm grateful for this.
Here's to the blessing of having wonderful Fathers. Thank God.
