Nov 2004, taken a few months after my husband was diagnosed w/stage 4 lung cancer and was given 6 months to live, he had a stroke probably caused by the aggressive palliative chemo tx and subsequent blood clot in his right leg which resulted in an amputation--we went to the beach shortly afterwards, he had been through so much, aged 20 yrs in 3 months, and he knew he was dying soon but still he smiled and went on day in and day out up to the very end. I will miss him every single day until we meet again xoxo
