Dear Janice, you lost your life partner and all that involves--shared dreams, goals, routines, identity, friends, hobbies, etc.-- so I hope you will be encouraged when I tell you that one year is no time at all to find your bearings. I lost my son two years ago (May 2011) and I am only now starting to find my new normal. I'm sorry for your loss. Sending you a virtual hug now. Teri

I love that. One year ago this morning I woke up, and the other half of me , my Don, didn't. The world is still around me, but I'm in a fog still. I live my life the best I can, thought I was doing OK but not so good after all.
I love you Don, always and forever.
