My name is Peg. I am so glad you have found us here. No matter how many family members or friends you do or don't have, no one REALLY understands what you are going through unless they THEMSELVES have been through it.
I know what you are going through and even though it has only been 6 mos since I lost my beloved Harry, I am certain I will feel the way you do even years from now. You can't just dismiss a life of love just because one isn't here any longer. The pain is unbearable at times but there are times when we do smile from the memories. I have my 2 sons very nearby and 6 of my 8 grandchildren also. I have a daughter who lives 700 miles away. They ahve 2 children. I miss them but we do see each other at least 4x/year.
My husband died of pancreatic cancer just 6mos. after his diagnosis. Not much time but
