I believe that once a significiant event happens in our lives, our lives are never the same. I have not had to face what you are facing, so I cannot say I completely understand - it would be insulting to you and your life. But, life will never be the same - look in the mirror and LOVE the person you see in the mirror - it is YOU and you are beautiful - I see it in your face and your eyes. It is easy for me to say what I am saying as I am not waling in your shoes, but maybe one way to look at the fight ahead for you is that you have been put on "notice" about your life and now is the time to spend as much time as you can to enjoy the small things in life - the sunshine, the flowers, whatever it is that you enjoy. Spend time with your family, friends, even if you don't feel well enough to go out and do things with them. Find things to laugh at - laughter is great medicine.
