Brad, I lost my 45 year old live-in son to an unexpected brain swelling in September 2011, and at a pretty advanced age, I find myself completely alone. Well, apart from his two beautiful, affectionate dogs, thank God.
This poem has given me great comfort, and I pass it on to you:
God's Garden
- Mary E. Deforge.
Please write, and maybe put a picture of your daughter. It helps a lot.
David.
I'm sorry for your loss. Your daughter was so young. It just breaks my heart that this "group" keeps growing. I live in Brookfield, WI. I lost my son Jan 9 2008. He was 32. He was hurt at work and became disabled. It doesn't matter what age our kids are, the pain is the more than anyone could ever imagine.
Feel free to write to me and tell me about you "Carebear" She is with God and a beautiful angel watching and the pain you are feeling now, is the journey you'll be on for quite awhile. I'm sorry to say that but it's the truth. We, on this site, all feel your pain, we've been there. My name is Janie. God be with you, and my prayers are for you.
