It is late here, but I just wanted to say, after losing my husband Jack 6 months ago and being married almost 40 years, yes, you feel you have lost half of your essence, and who are you now and where to go from here? Hopefully you will get the answers but they make take their time to get here.

He had cancer and put up a fight for 10 months before it took him. I met him when I was 15 and we married when I was 17 and he was 20. That was almost 40 years ago. I'm sure you're in the "fog" right now. Feel free to write when you feel up to it.
