Hi Gail, sorry to hear of your loss and welcome here. Hopefully we can all support each other and help us through this journey of grief. It is late here, but I just wanted to say, after losing my husband Jack 6 months ago and being married almost 40 years, yes, you feel you have lost half of your essence, and who are you now and where to go from here? Hopefully you will get the answers but they make take their time to get here.
Take good care and continue to write whenever you need to.
Hi Gail. I'm so sorry you have to be here with the rest of us. It has been 9 months since I lost my husband, Gary. He had cancer and put up a fight for 10 months before it took him. I met him when I was 15 and we married when I was 17 and he was 20. That was almost 40 years ago. I'm sure you're in the "fog" right now. Feel free to write when you feel up to it.
I lost my wife on Jan 15 2010, it was not sudden, she had been sick. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope that one day we will be together again.I still cant believe over a year has past me by . I am sure you find this site to be helpful .
