I am really sorry to hear about your loss. I will keep you in my prayers. Your son is very handsome. I lost my Dad, losing a child is even harder, because most parents expect to leave this earth before their children do. Stay blessed.
Hi Hytha, I too lost my only child/son Joe when he was riding his BMW motorcycle after Easter Sunday 2010;being with us in the home he grew up in. A herdrunk driver did the same but was place in jail for almost a week. To date no court date and the guy is still walking around. There is no justice our sons were both worth more than the impaired drivers who took them away from us. I have no grandchildren and I have just continued to live doing what I did before all of this happened and even more. By the way your son looks very nice in the photo wearing his uniform.
Take care of yourself and live each day as best as you can.
i don't know if your into to TV but I like to watch sitcoms that make me laugh. Laughing helps us mentally and physically.
None of us know how to go on either. We just do it with the help of each other. We understand the unimaginable pain. I am sorry for your loss and glad that you found this site. We will help you. I am sending you my love developed out of mutual pain. I am also sending you strength and the wish for eventual peace. I promise you the searing pain will lessen with time. A lot of time but you will be able to live. None of us will ever be the same but life hopefully will become bearable for all of us. Sincerely, Gavin's grandma Ilona
