Thinking of you

Well almost another year has come and gone. I don't understand how life just moves on without the ones you love not being here. I guess it true time stops for no one. I can't believe it will be 2 years on Dec. 21st. I just want to say Happy 20th Birthday(Dec. 21st)to my preciouse boy. You will never be forgotten you are forever in my heart, but i know that you are in good hands now and forever.

My 17 year old son passed away 5 months ago after collapsing during a basketball game. The ER doctor's weren't able to revive him. He died from cardio/pulmonary arrest. My son has always been athletic in every way and even competed in Judo for years with no problems. He was born with a heart defect but it never caused him any problems until that horrible day. I'm just so confused at how this could happen to a young man that has always been active in pretty much every sport. My heart definitely goes out to you with understanding and care. I'm sorry that any of us on this site have to experience what we are experiencing. Hugs to you.

I am not sure if it was your Son or a similar case here in Miami I seen on the news, when you loose your kid suddenly one is way more aware of these things and I listen to every word. I much like yourself am also left very confused when I read your comment today. A perfectly healthy and good kid, I remember I made my wife sit with me to watch the news over and over again several times. My Prayers are with you specially praying we will all continue seeking peace with what has happened. Jasmin was 30 still young but, your case really puzzles my thinking as to why God would do this to us ? I am clueless. At 7:46am on February 18, 2010, Harvetta jackson said…: Yea that was his senior night for football and yea I was so proud to be on his arms. See how healthy he look that's why I am so confused as to why he is gone there was nothing wrong with him. He played defensive line that was just a couple months ago. I was always afraid of him getting hurt on the football field because it was so physical not on the basketball court. It's so weird last year my son got hurt on the football field at Terry Parker High School and he had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance and this year he collasped at that same school in the gym and dies how weird. He would have graduated on June 9th 2010 of this year that is going to be a hard day for me. They are going to let me and his father receive his diploma what a honor that will be but also very emotional for both of us. enough about me how are you holding up these days standing strong i hope. I live in Florida, Jacksonville so we are not to far from each other. Until next time be at peace
