I Read your comments and it moved me to express to you words that have helped me, since I also lost my mother in June of this year. She was going thru cancer and was sick for some time, during this process I read many scriptures that gave me comfort and strengthened my faith, one of which is Psalms 34:18 that states "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves" This scripture has made me feel that I am not alone durning this difficult period of grief.
My mother also shared the same faith for the future and we, at times, would talk about how the words of John 5: 21,28-29 will become a reality. This in turn has helped me continue to share the promise made by Jesus Christ to others who deal with pain of losing a loved one.

I hope these words help with your grief and healing. Here I send a link for a small tract that talks about the hope. Enjoy.
