Michelle,
I see from your profile that you live in Ct. I will be there this weekend to speak at a grief support conference in Dansbury. While there is a fee to attend, you may find great connections there. I am glad to speak with you on the phone about the type of support you are looking for and try to help you connect with the right groups. I can be reached at my cemetery office at 716-873-6500. Hang in there. Grief is not easy, but finding others who understand is one way to help yourself feel a little better.

Hi Michelle,
You have definitely made the right decision to join this website. You will find that many of us have face similar tragedies....I almost lost my husband in a very bad accident...I lost a sibling. I lost my grandparents a very early age. ....I could go on...The main thing is that we need each other in these difficult times...Many may say the oddest things but please know they mean well... You are going to find that true friends are there through the toughest time. We all need to vent and grieve (this comes in many stages) and this website allows that.... Let's weep together today Michelle (Ecc 3:4)......Hope this reaches you today
Michelle, I am not sure where you have been looking for support, but I would suggest that you try to find a grief support group where you can meet with others who understand your loss and can help you. There are also therapists in some agencies who work on a sliding fee scale and can help you 1:1. You may also be able to connect with trained clergy who can offer you help as well. Don't give up, there is help (and hope) out there. I honor that you are trying to find a place where you can get the support you need.
