Missing Poppy(The Bad, Bad Leon Brown)

It's been a lil over six months since Poppy passed and some days like today, the tears just won't stop. He would have been 90 years old on Sept. 9th and I just miss him so much. However, I know that He's resting with no more pain and discomfort. He was the "Bestest Dad this side of Heaven" Rest in Peace Dad.

He had one of the heart surgeries on his birthday - which was a true blessing - just when we thought all was well, the amputation(s) and then the stroke. He had a ruff year and I am sure glad that he is not suffering any longer. I have my moments of grief too - where the pain is so untouchable that I feel it will never go away! Thanks for sharing.
