Hello Dr. Gibson; thank you for your response. Your mother lived a wonderful age. I lost my mother when she was 77 years old. She had scleraderma which she endured like a solider to the end. My grieving was so hard because I took so much blame upon myself. But God's healing has been in the process of my life and it has been 11 years that my mom has passed; but it was the first 5 years that were hard and the past 6 years were the healing process. Healing actually happens. When I noticed it was one Mother's Day I was watching "Lifetime" channel and I did not cry grieving tears but actually I was smiling and it scared me at first and then I realized and said "Oh my God, what's happening." God let me know through that movie I was beginning to heal through Him. So to you it will come.
Hello, Dr. Gibson. Welcome to the site. Anything you want to say you can say it here. Take one day at a time and know you have that right to grieve. God is in the grieving process with you. Take care and hope to hear from you.
