Today makes one month since my sister passed away. I couldn’t bring myself out of bed this morning. How I wish I could talk to her. Every morning she would call me just to talk about anything. I miss so much. One month!! God this hurts so much my heart is broken. I still don’t understand why my sister why did she have to be sick.
Dear Stephanie,
Grief is said to be a necessary part of the healing process and of learning to adapt to the new situation. There is an empty space where before there was a living human. We need to adjust to life without that person. Grief may provide a necessary emotional release. Of course, not everyone grieves in exactly the same way. One thing, though, seems to hold true: Repressing your grief can be harmful mentally, emotionally, and physically so be patient with yourself . The bible holds the answer to why we get sick. I would like to share the answer with you. kathy27440@hotmail.com
I've been through that too. My husband tries to be sympathetic but he doesn't get it at all. Hardly anyone does, really. I know about that loneliness. It makes me withdraw into myself and not risk telling anyone how I feel. What gets me through is my counselor, who worked for hospice when I met her. She truly does understand.
Sometimes I just want to scream, I'm so upset, but I don't even share most of it with my husband. It's too disappointing. However, I understand that he is not me, and he just doesn't know.
