My condolences to the family of those who have died. I will like to share a scripture I found comforting, Acts 24:15. It says that “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous”. We all cant wait to see our loved ones again!
***Keep a list of favorite Bible passages....(Psalms 94:19)
***Reach out to friends that have your best interest (Proverbs 17:17)
***Thinking about the day when I can see them again (John 5:28,29)
Pleasants Memories:
She was so happy
Good Mother and will do anything for her children
I wish I could have:
Talked to her more

Q. I’ve been asked to join some women acquaintances on a long weekend excursion. The participants are widows (like me) or divorced. What do you think?
I’m all for it. In fact, I’ve been doing something similar for several years. The “all girls” trip has become an annual highlight. In my case, the idea took hold after my husband, an attorney, died. One of his biggest clients was a business trade organization, which held…

Many of us have heard these words..." To death do us apart" Death brings an end of marriage. Many children get mad if their parents want to remarry. The decision is personal and one should want their parent to be happy- 1 Corinthians 7:39

Very important that our sick love ones have someone that can act as an agent and advocate. One of my friends was too sick to talk and her mother acted as an advocate. It was a sad situation because her children wanted to do something opposite of my fiend's wishes. This is so sad. As children we need to respect our parents wishes dead or alive. If our love one wishes to be cremated ..respect their wishes. When you see them again one day, you can say I did every thing just so. It's not a bad…

You were a very talented person and you will be remembered. Your death took all of us by surprise. The age of 57 is very young.... I look forward to the time when there will be no more death or pain....- Revelation 21: 3, 4.. You will be in God's memory

Q. My aunt just died, and I want to attend the funeral. However, I haven’t spoken to my cousin (her son) for several years after a series of arguments. What should I do? I’m afraid he’ll be annoyed to see me there or even challenge me.
Funerals and memorial services are meant to be healing rituals for survivors that bring us together to share the loss of a loved one. But that doesn’t happen if the bereaved are…

The season has changed and the days are longer and warmer; new blooms rise from the ground each morning, and tree buds are bursting. Nature is at its glorious best, and the days hold the promise of what is to come. How can anyone be sad at this time of year?
The spring blooms that bring so much…

Good morning,
I was hoping someone might be able to share some advice from their experience of losing a spouse. My husband has a rare form of cancer and has endured a year worth of chemo and other treatments. Unfortunately, there are no other options and he is currently receiving hospice care in our home. What I am curious about is whether there is anything I can do for myself or my young children before the real grieving process starts? I'm an emotional wreck and know it's going…

Facebook has become a major channel for your friends to share and mourn the death of their loved ones. Unlike obituaries that follow an established format, there are no standards or rules for Facebook death announcements. Friends might write an actual death announcement, a tribute message, or share the obituary of a deceased family member or friend.…
