Comment by Cheryl on January 23, 2010 at 11:00am: Patti I wanted to write you to express my condolences for the lost of your husband. When death separates husbands' and wives, that is such a great loss and it can result in deep sorrow. No doubt you are still overwhelmed with great sadness.
During times like these, many, myself included have been comforted in knowing of the resurrection our heavenly father has promised us through the merit of Jesus Christ ransom sacrifice according to John 5:28,29. The same way Jesus resurrected his dear friend, Lazarus, he will also do for your husband. (John 11:11-44) God had promised to restore Paradise on this earth according to Matthew 6:9,10. In the restored Paradise, the human family will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all sickness and disease. It will be into such a cleansed earth that Jehovah through Jesus will resurrect the dead.
We can have faith and trust this because God can not Lie according to Titus 1:2 and Isaiah 55:11.
