Crystal,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful son, Joshua. I thank him for honoring us with his service to our country. I know you are proud and always will be; but missing him so very much with all that you are.
My son, Chad, was 18. He was fun, genuine, simple, full of a laughter and a sense of humour that won him many friends. He was strong and brave and entered the delayed entry program for the Marines when he was 17. While he changed his mind about the Marines before he left for boot camp it wasn't because he was afraid. He wanted to be a police officer someday and he was going to focus on that. He just wasn't quite sure how to do it.
When I looked at the picture of your handsome son; his blue eyes jumped out of the picture at me. They are the color blue of my son Chad's eyes.
I know there is nothing I can really say except I care, I am sorry, and I won't forget Joshua's sacrifice. Please come back and know that everyone on this site is proud of your son.
DEAR CRYSTAL,MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY,ON THE LOSS OF YOUR DEAR SON.WE HAVE ALL LOST A CHILD ON THIS SIGHT, AS YOU KNOW,BUT I AM HONORED TO SHARE THIS SITE WITH THE MOM OF A MARINE.AND MAY GOD BE WITH YOU, AND YOUR WONDERFUL SON. ALWAYS, GERI
Hello Crystal,
I am sorry to read of your great loss. I only have one son and can't imagine how you must feel. I lost my dear Grandmother last July though, and she was like a mother to me. I get so much encouragement from reading the resurrections Jesus and others did when they brought people back to life. Did you know Jesus resurrected a widows only son and it is recorded in the bible? It is so encouraging to think about the time in the near future when "...all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus) voice and come out...." John 5:28
