I lost my first husband in 1991.  In 1996 I became a bereavement counselor for a hospice connected with the largest Catholic hospital in the world.  My own experience with deep loss taught me many things.  My experiences with helping others taught me much more.  Besides helping those who lost loved ones that were on hospice, though our community outreach program, I have been allowed to help many others whose loved one's death resulted from accident, suicide, murder etc.  For many years, I have had weekly support groups.  Next year I plan to retire.  I came upon this site by accident, but feel I should share with others many things that could help them.  No one can understand how hard the road of grief is without experiencing it.  I welcome your comments, questions, feelings etc.
