I will start my story short and simple. I lost my father to Pancreatic Cancer over 4 years ago. When i was 11 i found out my dad had Cancer. As Daddy's little girl I was almost instantly devistated. My parents told me I had nothing to worry about and everything was going to be okay, I knew my father was tough and would get through this, but part of me was scared. For those of you who have lost someone through cancer my condolences go out to you. Watching someone battle cancer is the hardest thing anyone can do. My dad did everything he could to stay alive for my family. It was a short fight, I only had 8 or 9 months to say goodbye. If there's one thing my dad told me before he passed was the will to live, and life every second to the fullest. My dad was a very inspirational person and in many ways my hero. My dad as a loving and caring man and will remain my heart forever. This is the kind of man we lost to Cancer, if our awareness and our efforts can keep more people like father alive, then “We can do this"
