Loosing Someone You Never had a chance to know is sad.

I searched for the last 20 years for my mother Ruth E. Bubier. I along with 3 other siblings were all told that our mother had died in 1974. To our surprise a week I found my mother through an obituary online and also found out we had 3 more siblings. Our mother also had one child that had passed.

So now instead of just 4 of us there were 8 with only 7 now surviving. My Mothers Name was Ruth E. Bubier of Ipswich Mass.

A week ago one of my friends said to try and search FB so I did and I came upon an obituary from Attleboro Mass. The name and dates matched but there was still no solid proof.

So I saw that there was another link that lead me to another page with a picture. I almost fell over in my chair and call my husband into the room. I showed him the picture and he was really even more shocked. The woman in the picture even though older look just like me.

So in the obituary it listed the ages and the names of 3 survivers I again went onto FB and search with the names given and found one person and left my name and number and who I was and to please call me. Then I picked up the phone and called my brother and told him I believe I found our mother.

He couldn't believe it and wanted to know if this was our mother. Well a day passed and it was Friday late afternoon I finally got the call from my half sister who told me that yes it is our mother and that our mother told them about us all and things after 40 years of lies finally made sence.

I was so sad that myself and my other siblings didn't get the chance to know our mother but at least now I have family that I can talk to and hopefully meet soon.

My 2 sisters and I have already started to bond and it nice to know about our Mother. Now my mission is complete even though there are still lots of questions we are slowly taken one step at a time at bring our family together.

We would like to all be untied and meet and maybe it will in time happen.
