My love of my life and best friend was gone in less than 2hours of a Heart Attack.

My husband Joe and I were married 37 years.  He is gone now and he was only 68 yrs. old.  He was never really sick, and was 100% disabled from the military.  He died suddenly of a massave heart attack.  I am in such shock, and I can't stop crying, and I can't seem to eat on a regular basis. I don't mean to complain, but I don't know what to do.  We have 9 children between us, and they were all here at the time it happened.  And 2 daughters live near me. Every night my daughter comes here after work, and another daughter comes here every week for several days. Please tell me how to handle this loss.

I guess it never really goes away. The feelings of emptyness is constant. It has only been less than a month, but feels like I don't know.  Maybe someday it will begin to get less and less so hurtful.  Nice to hear from you Dee.You seem like a caring person.

My partner and I were together for 5 years. He passed away very unexpectently on August 21, 2010. We were together that night watching a movie on the television when he got a great pain in his chest, within hour he was gone. His name was Bill and he was only 49 years old. I continue to grieve today. I miss him so.
