I know how you are feeling .. I feel for you, I wish I could take away all thsts happened and reverse time , but I can't .. It's a process we have to go through ourselves for one reason or another.. What I do is ( which seems to help) I say good morn to my brother and just talk a little to him.. I hope he's looking down on me and smiling.. Plus I have his dog so I talk to him also.. You know pets are wonderful companions if you don't have one think about getting one it would probaly work
Hayley, I'm so sorry you lost your soul mate. It's been a little over a mth since I lost my brother to esophageal cancer .. I'm still not wanting to believe it.

I am so sorry for your recent loss, my heart aches for you. The only way I was able to get through this was taking it one day at a time and some days it was one hour at a time. A year has passed and I find it hard to believe. I do have some good days. The house and yard keep me pretty busy as do family and friends so that has helped. Embrace the memories and let the tears flow as you need to. Hug your kids (dogs) and keep them close, I am sure they know you are hurting and they will help you heal. Give yourself time before you begin to feel a little better and keep sharing on this site, you will get a lot of support.
im so sorry for such a horrific loss........i lost my daughter...30...and i still have no words...its been 3 weeks now and i am unable to describe the encompassing sadness....
Sorry for your loss Haley. I feel the same as you since i lost my husband of over 56 years . He had suffered enough. But it is lonely without him here after so many years together, We all need to try & make the best of the change in out lives , though the hurt willl never go away.

Even if your depressed try to stay busy doing something it does help .
The thought of getting out seems like you couldnt possibly do it but drag yourself out anyways and sometimes you feel a little better once your out.
One day at a time until you can cope a little better.
Hang in there you can vent to me any time .
