So sorry to hear of this terrible accident. My thoughts and prayers are with you Donna. Hang in there.....I am sure once the extreme danger of infection is over you will be able to visit your sons girlfriend. Positive thoughts for her recovery.
Hi Donna.....I was thinking of you yesterday on Deanna's special day. I actually thought it was the one year but that won't be till June. Hopefully you are feeling a little better since the last time we posted together.
I am sending positive thoughts and rememberance of Deanna.....our children are not far away from us.
Hello how are you? My name is Warren. I would like to express my condolences to you. I lost my dad in 2002 and that pain is unbearable for me. I felt physically sick to my stomach but I was able to find comfort in God's word the Bible.
Death is such a hard pill to swallow I know from personal experiences. I would like to share with you what I found out about the dead and what happens to us when we die and hope for our dead love ones. The dead are shown to be “conscious of nothing at all” and the death state to be one of complete inactivity. (Ec 9:5, 10; Ps 146:4) Those dying are described as going into “the dust of death” (Ps 22:15), becoming “impotent in death.” (Pr 2:18; Isa 26:14)
I'm hoping you this helps you find comfort in your lost as I have please feel free to ask any question you may have and I'll be more then happy to share with you what I know. Take care.
In both the Hebrew and the Greek Scriptures, death is likened to sleep, a fitting comparison not only because of the unconscious condition of the dead but also because of the hope of an awakening through the resurrection. (Ps 13:3; Joh 11:11-14) The resurrected Jesus is spoken of as “the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep in death.”—1Co 15:20, 21
Wishing you strength tomorrow on Mothers Day and for the communion of your grand children. What a wonderful thing to celebrate with your family. Just try and enjoy the day with the little ones....
Donna, keep on holding on...you know your daughter would want you to. I know this is the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with, but I just keep my beautiful girl's memory alive every day. For every day that I have left, she WILL be a part of it! Just know that you are NOT alone!
Glad the day is over.....you made it thru. I am glad we all can help each other out when the days seem hard for us. Just happy we have this site to post our inner feelings that no one else in the world understand. I never had a clue but now I do....sadly.
Donna, I know it's really hard. I'm praying for you. Don't ever be sorry for reaching out for support. No one understands better the pain you feel than those of us who are walking the same path. The important thing is to keep walking. It may just be baby steps and from time to time it may be stepping backwards but it's not getting frozen in our tracks. Our kids would never want that for us. All some of us really have left is to honor them by inching forward. Hugs.
Donna, hang in there honey; we are all in the same boat and just have to be here for each other! I pray for you each day for strength, comfort, and peace.'
