I am sooooo sorry that I haven't been on line very much and not at all in the last two weeks. It has been a seriously tough summer for our family. Two weeks ago it got even worse: My brother in law Roger had been sick for about a month and a half when on Thursday August 9th he asked his wife to take him to the ER. By night fall we knew he had some kind of mass - Friday they did more tests and determined that he has pancreatic cancer - by Saturday morning my sister in law Sandy called to tell us they said he had days to weeks to live. They said that he might live 2 months with chemo but Roger refused. They have no medical insurance. . .
As soon as my husband heard this he and our daughter left for Orlando FL to see him in the hospital. Now since Roger has chosen to go to Cincinnati OH to be with his kids and grandchildren my husband Dale has purchased a plane ticket for next weekend to go be with his brother. I want to go too but we just cannot afford it.
Death is such a terrible enemy - (1 Corinthians 15:26) "As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing." What a wonderful hope the Bible gives us when it tells us that death will be no more at (Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
So sorry you have lost your daughter. You have found a very supportive group that understands. I will be here for you anytime you need to talk. This is a highly individualized journey but we can support each other along the way.
