Trying to cope - don't know where to start

My husband of 20 years died suddenly on December 18, 2009. He had spent the last 18 months getting back into shape and was really beginning to enjoy life and looking forward to do more things now that he was healthy. Three years ago he was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and went into a severe depression. He was already overweight and drank too much when he had the surgery.

At 8:12pm on July 3, 2010, Brigitte said…: What a small world! Douglas and I lived in Bellingham for 15 years. I graduated from WWU and he from Fairhaven. Douglas would have been 63 -- and will always be 62! I am doing better and moving forward has gotten easier. My daughter will be spending my anniversary with me but the anniversary of his death will be on me. He was/is my hero -- and I am just so grateful that his pain is over. The best gift Douglas left me is a blessed legacy of beautiful and happy memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. We need to keep in touch!
